 Past

Daisin's father was a powerful demon lord known for his cruelty. He had grown bored of the females within his own realm, or perhaps he simply wished to know what other realms held in the way of playthings--either way, he decided to travel to other realms in search for some entertainment. It was within these other realms that he found Daisin's mother. She was the most beloved angel within heaven, whose beauty was said to be unparalleled to others. The two of them had a short affair that result the angel getting pregnant with Daisin. It was during this time that she learned of the demon's true nature, and wished to protect her son from his father. However, her efforts was within in vain, because shortly after Daisin was born the demon took his son back to his realm. It was here that he decided he to raise his son, and mold him into his perfect heir---his mirror image.

For two years Daisin remained within his father's custody, but than one of his father's human servants decided to steal his son away. She had grown fond of Daisin--as did many of the servants within his father's estate--and did not wish him twisted by his father. She fled with him earth and eventually settle within a small town with Kentucky. She believed that while Daisin's father would be scowering the universe for his son that he would never think of looking for him within that small Kentucky town. It was here that she raised Daisin as her own. She told him the truth of whom and what his father was, but made him promise not to tell anyone. She didn't know how the people of the town would react to Daisin not being completely human. She didn't wish to see him mistreated because of the fact. She, also, didn't wish for Daisin's whereabouts to somehow get back to his father. She believed the less people whom knew the less likely the winds would somehow carry the information to Daisin's father.

The next twelve years Daisin lived a happy existence. It was here that he met a girl named Arien. They became best friends and as the years passed they grew more and more inseparable. Everyone within the town believed they were going to get married, but before they could learn whether or not they were correct on their assumption Daisin's father had learned where his human servant had taken his son and came with a band of his minions to collect him. His father tried to convince Daisin to come with him, but he refused. His home was within this town and he knew what his father was. He wasn't going to put himself into that demon's hands. His father became enraged and told Daisin that if he didn't come with him that he would slaughter everyone within the town. Still, Daisin refused and his father kept his word---he killed everyone within the town.

The only thing Daisin could do was stand there and watch everyone he knew and cared about be violently killed. He was petrified. It was not witnessing everyone he loved killed right before him that had him frozen in place, but the desire to join in the bloodbath that rose up within him. He wanted nothing more than to surrender to the blood lust that was raising up inside of him, and he knew that if he moved that it would be to join his father instead of act against him. Eventually everyone laid dead beside Daisin and Arien. His father turned towards Daisin and asked once again if he would join him, and just like before Daisin refused. Instead of making more threats, his father vanished with his band of demons. Daisin has no idea why his father just left like that or why he had spared Arien.

The two of them wondered around the empty town for a few days until someone from another town came, and saw what had happened. They sent people to clean up the mess, and took Daisin and Arien away from the grisly sight. It was clear to anyone whom came in contract with Daisin how much the events had effected him. So, they decided to ship him to an orphanage in New York City. Normally, they liked to keep the children within the same state, but they believed that situation called for Daisin to be sent to this particular orphanage. It was a church ran facility whom helped children like Daisin. Children whom had witness or forced to endure horrific things though the hands of demons. There are those whom claim that demons do not exist, and that these children often times refer to those responsible for the terrible things they had witness or had done to them as such as a way to come to terms with what had been done to them. They figured that even if demons weren't real that this was the best place for Daisin and Arien, whom was brought to the orphanage as well.

The priest whom ran the orphanage knew very well that demons existed. In fact, he told Daisin something that makes him confuse. He tells Daisin that he is both blessed and cursed. He has no idea what that means, but if he has to hazard a guess it has something to do with his half-breed status. However, it soon became clear to Daisin that he was not the only one affected by the events that turned their entire world upside down. He could see just how much Arien had been affected by what happened. He could see the pain within her eyes, and most of all he could see the hatred she held towards demons. It was for this reason he kept the fact that he was half-demon from her. He did not wish for those hate filled eyes to turn towards him.

Present

Instead, he vowed to destroy all demons within the world just so Arien can be happy. He convinced the priest to train him, and he became one of the most talented and renown hunter. However, it is not just his skills as a hunter that had every demon he encounters knowing his name, but also his connection to his father. Daisin has came in contract with his father many time since coming to the orphanage. In fact, the demon comes and collect Daisin on a number of occasion. Each time Daisin manages to escape from his father's grasp, but this never discourage the demon from trying again.

Eventually Daisin and Arien starts dating, but their relationship was short-lived. She ended up breaking up with him, claiming that he had grown distant and didn't share anything with her. The two of them went their separate ways, and had not seen each other since that day. However, he still keeps true to the vow he made. He only kills the ones that deserves it--the ones that hurt humans for their own twisted desires. However, he believes that all demons will end up crossing that line and he will be there to put them down when they do. He focus all his attention upon being a hunter, allowing himself to have no personal relationship. This is the way he likes it because he knows that the life of a hunter is a dangerous one, and he will encounter a demon that will kill him instead of the other way around. He doesn't want anyone to deal with pain of his death.
